Having a dominant post player can really add value to your team. Unfortunately though unless you are really lucky you are most likely going to have to spend time developing your post players because there game lacks in different areas. This was a great article and Coach Eaker made some great points. Play in the post has changed from the traditional back to the basket post player. With the prevalence of the 3-pt shot and the use of the ballscreen. Now, Post players are more of finishers off distribution by guards, rebounders, and basket protectors.
