HEAD WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH AND FACULTY POSITION - TRINITY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE (Ill.) - POSTED JANUARY 22, 2010
Trinity Christian College has an opening for a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a full-time position made up of 1/2 coaching responsibilities, plus a teaching load, preferably in the Physical Education Department. Possibility for tenure-track exists depending on the qualifications. Position starts August 2010.

Qualifications Master’s degree and previous basketball coaching experience required; head coaching and college experience preferred. College teaching experience desired. Trinity seeks candidates who are professing Christians and committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning.

Responsibilities Serve as head coach of women’s basketball team, including recruiting, travel planning, scheduling, and practice planning. Teach courses in the appropriate curricular areas of expertise.

HEAD WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH - LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY (Mo.) - POSTED JANUARY 21, 2010
Lindenwood University is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach with duties to begin upon appointment. The coach reports directly to the Dean of Intercollegiate Athletics and is responsible for team recruitment, conditioning, training, game preparation and fiscal management, as well public and alumni relations and monitoring of conduct and academic performance of student-athletes. This is a 12-month, full-time position with comprehensive benefits package. A bachelor’s degree is required (master’s degree preferred), as well as five years experience coaching women’s basketball at the collegiate level (preferred). Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills and a commitment to the mission of the University. A background check will be required for the successful candidate.
