Short Bio

Active participation in the coaching field for over 35 years which includes Australian Institute of Sport, the NBL levels in both Australia (Canberra Capitals-(F)and New Zealand (Wellington Saints-(M). I have also been Head Coach of the ACT Academy of Sport basketball program in Canberra, Australia. From 1998 through 2000 I was also a member of Australian Women’s team (Opals) coaching staff.

Most recently I have been the Head Coach of the New Zealand Women’s program since early 2004, nearly five years. Since my involvement the Tall Ferns have gone from unranked in the world to 16th, qualified for the quarter finals at the Athens Olympics- finishing eighth, won the Silver medal at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games and created history by beating the World Champions Australia for the first time ever in April 2008.
