Short Bio
At St. Anthony's he was a three-year starter at point guard and earned first team All-State honors. During his high school career, St. Anthony's won three consecutive State Championships and set a New Jersey state record with 66 straight wins. In 1996 his team finished 30-0 and was named National Champions by USA Today. Rashon was recruited by various Division I basketball programs but chose to further his basketball career at DePaul University who at the time was coached by Pat Kennedy. His recruiting class was named the top recruiting class in the nation for 1998, and consisted of Rashon and three other in-coming freshman. While at DePaul the Blue Demons made one NCAA Tournament appearance and Rashon led CUSA in assists and steals. He was also the first player in team history to be named captain for three straight years. Rashon was also named as one of the future top college coaches by Athlon Sports
