COACHING EXPERIENCE ASSISTANT BASKETBALL COACH 2009-10 Akron St. Vincent St. Mary High School Akron, Ohio Assisted freshman team with all practices and would run practice when coach was absent, coaching one game. Attended varsity and junior varsity practices and was asked to help assist with coaching during the junior varsity games and fill in for coach some days at practice. Assisted with post athletes at all levels. HEAD BASKETBALL COACH 2006-2009 Jackson-Milton Local School District North Jackson, Ohio Promoted from varsity assistant, hired qualified coaches, planned practices, scouted opposing teams, watched films and created scouting reports, edited films and statistics, ordered team apparel, inventoried equipment, scheduled busing, created a website and over saw other functions of the basketball program. Met individual and as a team to establish and maintain goals and core values. Organized 1st Annual Foundation Game, raising $1, 800 for the ACS and two community families affected by cancer. ASSISTANT COACH (DISTANCE) 2000 – 02 Jackson-Milton High School Track North Jackson, Ohio North Jackson, Ohio Volunteered to work with mid-distance and distance runners. Trained with athletes and made a website for the runners to check their times and distances for running and field events. CROSS COUNTRY AND FOOTBALL MANAGER/TRAINER 1998 – 02 Malone College Canton, Ohio Cross-country: In charge of all medical kits and keeping up with runners injuries. Also in charge of equipment, signs, and international affairs. Trained with the team, assisted runners at practice and on the road. Football: 250+ hours logged. Spatted ankles, heated, and stretched players before practice. Kept athletes hydrated during practice and kept an eye out for injuries. After practice helped cut off tape, ice, and bandage any new injures. One hour a day at least was in the training room also to assist in rehab. Evaluated athletes prior to drafting our teams. Wrote player evaluations and led team practices along with shooting off the dribble, full court dribbling, two ball dribbling, rebounding, passing and post move stations.
