Demonstrates highly effective administrative skills in public relations and recruitment of student athletes. Possesses strong communication, motivation and lecturing skills, and is proficient in planning and supervision.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2001-Present Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Director of Athletics
SUNY College at Old Westbury, Old Westbury, New York
Manage budgets for the athletic department, and assists with the management of the Clark Athletic Center. Currently Chairmen of the Old Westbury Inter-Collegiate Athletic Board.
Achieved honors as Skyline Conference Coach of Year for the 2002-03 season as well as the 2003-2004 season. Led the team to Conference Championships in the 2003-04 and 2009-2010 seasons, and an NCAA bid in 2004. Achieved 141wins, which is 2nd best in the history of the college.


1991-1999 Head Men’s Basketball Coach
Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, New York
Managed all budgets, recruitment of student athletes, scheduling, public relations and staffing. Organized and directed a highly successful summer basketball camp. Achieved honors as NECC Coach of the Year for the 1998-99 season. Coached the team to 101 wins, which was 2nd in the history of the university. Spear headed promotion of the program from division III to division I.
