Three Rivers College inspires, prepares, and empowers students to succeed through open access to high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of the communities we serve. Three Rivers College is governed by an elected six-member Board of Trustees from the College taxing district. The College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. As one of 12 public, two-year institutions in Missouri, Three Rivers College serves a 15-county area of nearly 10,000 square miles in Southeast Missouri.
Student population is around 3000 each semester. Educational needs of students are met through credit and non-credit instruction via the traditional classroom setting as well as online and interactive television. Class sizes remain small and are led by highly dedicated and trained faculty. In addition to the 80-acre main campus in Poplar Bluff, the College has full service external locations in Dexter, Kennett, Sikeston, and Cape Girardeau. Tuition cost is lower than the average state university and students have access to numerous financial aid programs. Location and affordability continue to be top fundamental concerns for the communities we serve.
