Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics, the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations assists with monitoring academics, compliance reporting, community services, team travel, fund raising, organization of practices, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics. The Director of Women’s Basketball Operations will serve as the main women’s basketball staff contact for other department and campus units.
Additionally, the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations will also serve as sole coordinator and administrator for all camps and clinics, requiring independent judgment in decisions regarding marketing strategies, design, scheduling, etc. The selected candidate must subscribe to the SIUE Principles Governing Athletics and comply with all University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations. The Director will work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel, support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate continuing concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. The Director of Women’s Basketball Operations may be assigned other related duties as assigned in support of the department’s mission and goals.
