Head Coach for Women’s Basketball

Medaille University is seeking a Head Coach for Women’s Basketball. This is a 12 month position. The Head Coach is responsible for initiating and administrating all aspects of the program, including but not limited to recruiting, scheduling of team activities and competition, training, academic monitoring, budget monitoring and fundraising.

In addition to women’s basketball, responsible for one area of athletic department administration as assigned, supporting the day to day operations of the athletic department. The position also entails assisting the athletic department with special events, such as open houses, accepted student dinners, and other Admissions events involving prospective student athletes.

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. A strong commitment to the student-athlete concept and a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required. Three to five years of coaching experience at the college level is preferred.
