Head Men's Basketball Coach | Minnesota State University Moorhead

*Leadership, operation and management of MSUM Men’s basketball program in accordance with University, Conference and NCAA rules, regulations and policies.

*Budget development and management including, athletic scholarships, recruiting and team allocations.

*Duties include but not limited to scheduling, recruiting, practice planning/organizing, budgeting supervising assistants, public relations, departmental fundraising and camps.

*Teaching courses in the Health and Physical Education department.

*Other administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s Degree
*Minimum of 5 years of progressive coaching at the collegiate or professional level
*Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and support student-athletes athletically, academically, and socially
*Demonstrated ability to teach physical education skills course and theory courses
*Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
*Demonstrated success working with students of diverse backgrounds including sensitivity to their needs and concerns

Preferred Qualifications:
*Masters Degree in related field
*Knowledge of NCAA Division II recruiting rules and regulations
*Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy of NCAA Division II athletics and student-athlete experience
*Familiarity with the Central Region and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference
*Ability to fundraise
