Shenandoah University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, is searching for qualified applicants for a Head Men’s Basketball Coach.
The Head Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for administering all aspects of the sport program including: coaching, recruiting, game scheduling and travel, budget management, equipment and inventory, academic monitoring, community service/engagement, and alumni communication. Responsible for promoting an atmosphere for compliance with NCAA DIII, ODAC, and University rules/regulations.
Secondary Responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree
- 3 – 5 years of successful collegiate basketball coaching experience
- Current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- A pre-employment background check, fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or on a University approved medical or religious exemption, as well as a satisfactory driving record will be required as a condition of hire.
