Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization. Three (3) years of coaching experience at the high school, club, collegiate, or professional level. Successful experience as a graduate assistant or intern in an athletic program is acceptable for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Current CPR/AED certification or obtain within two (2) months of employment. Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the country.

This position’s initial duties will include identifying, recruiting, coaching, and retaining student-athletes; scheduling contests and participating in athletic development and fundraising activities for athletics programs, including making speeches; promoting and overseeing the academic well-being of student-athletes; reviewing film to scout other teams and providing leadership for all aspects of the basketball program; as well as other duties as outlined in your official position description.
