Job Summary
Provides assistance to Head Women’s Basketball Coach with activities associated with the Women’s Basketball program. Maintains alumni and community outreach efforts, including interaction with campus offices, students and faculty/staff.
Coordinates participation of the Women’s Basketball team community service activities.
Edits game film into point of attact tapes, updates of FIU film library on a daily basis, assists the assistant coaches in gathering of high school film, provides daily updated film list to the assistant coaches.
Recommends and directs the planning, scheduling, promotion, coordination for all special events for the Women’s Basketball team.
Represents the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics on behalf of Women’s Basketball at professional meetings, alumni events community service functions and other events as necessary.
Maintains discretion when handling confidential information.
Reviews, understands and abides by all Athletic Department procedures.
Adheres to all State of Florida, University, Conference USA and NCAA rules, regulations and policies pertaining to the position of Director of External Operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Edits all practice and game film and creates season highlights to design video used for recruiting purposes within NCAA rules

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in an appropriate specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialization and two years of experience.

Desired Qualifications
Experience working with a Division I school desired.

Advertised Salary
Starting at $28,000 – commensurate with experience

Begin time: 8:30 AM
End time: 5:00 PM
