Coordination of overall operation and management of the university’s intercollegiate athletics women’s basketball program; planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, practice and athletic performance of student-athlete teams members. Full responsibility for success of team performance and for student-athlete academic performance, eligibility and behavioral conduct. Compliance with NCAA, the Southern Conference and university rules and regulations. Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff, to include their compliance with NCAA, Southern Conference and university rules and policies. Plan, monitor, and be accountable for the administration of the sports budget and be accountable for the assignment of athletic scholarships to team members.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum three years collegiate coaching experience. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
Master’s degree preferred. Head coaching experience preferred.
Wotk Hours: Sunday through Saturday (depending on practices and game schedule).
