Yeshiva University, a NCAA Division III institution and part of the Skyline Conference, located in New York City is seeking applicants for a Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

The Head Women’s Basketball Coach will execute all responsibilities as a head coach in a manner that properly reflects a commitment to excellence, integrity, success and the overall mission of Yeshiva University. Duties include, but are not limited to: recruitment of new student athletes, retention of current players, academic support, practice and game preparation, communicating effectively with team members, recruits and administration, and compliance with all NCAA Division III, Skyline, and institutional policies & procedures. In addition, the coach will be expected to immerse oneself and understand and emphasize the mission of Yeshiva University and hold the program and student-athletes therein to the same standards set forth by the entirety of the institution.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree, at least 3 years’ experience coaching basketball, ideally at the collegiate level, proven ability to motivate student-athletes, demonstrated experience in the recruitment of student-athletes, ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout the year for practice, games and recruiting. The chosen candidate will possess excellent written/oral communication, as well as demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications: Masters’ Degree, 5 years’ experience coaching basketball at the collegiate level, demonstrated ability to develop a highly competitive basketball program. CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.

This is a part-time, 10 month position.
