The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Play-By-Play Broadcaster to serve as the voice for Gator football, men’s basketball, and baseball. This position is responsible for acting as the host for football, men’s basketball, and baseball coaches shows and the weekly call-in show for football and men’s basketball. This includes coordinating on-air Gator Network radio broadcast content. This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • Five years radio play-by-play experience in an intercollegiate or professional environment
    • Experience with video and audio production
    • Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
    • Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Broadcasting or other related field
