After graduating, I chose to go to my home country to play and coach professional basketball. Being involved in a professional league was both developmental and enlightening, in that I was able to improve exponentially as a player and coach with increased knowledge of the game but also learnt about the behind the scenes and as a result grew as a person. Displaying intellectual prowess in both Basketball and Film/Media, I find my versatility and talent help me stand out as unique. I currently am in my first season as assistant varsity coach for Governor’s Academy under head coach Michael Shelton. I previously have assisted in coaching and filming for some of the top AAU programs in Massachusetts including Mass Rivals and Boston Elite Basketball who have produced numerous Division 1 players. I worked with a lot of showcases too including BallasTV and Boston College’s summer youth camps for 2 years straight. This work experience has given me insights and knowledge about the managerial end of things in Basketball. I have also filmed for and made many highlight tapes for players, trainers, and programs of all levels including the NBA and D-League, and as such have knowledge in how to create and showcase players’ capabilities. |
