Backdoor and Hand Off Play

Backdoor and Dribble Hand-off playHigh Post Entry Play with a backdoor, dribble hand off and a back screen.

  1. The play starts in the initial set to the right
  2. 4 and 5 sprint to the elbows.  The ball is entered to the 5 at the high post.
  3. The 2 cuts backdoor and clears out to the weakside corner if they do not receive a pass.
  4. The 1 sets their defender up then comes off a dribble hand off at the high post with an empty strong side of the floor.
