Circle Pressure Passing Drill

Circle Pressure Passing Drill is a fun, competitive keep away drill designed to teach players to pass under pressure but also to work in tandem with a teammate to force turnovers.

  1. Players line up around the circle at mid court then take at least one step back.
  2. Two players are designated as defenders and go in the middle of the circle.
  3. The ball is handed to a player in the circle.  The player must pass to anyone in the circle with the exception of the players directly to their right and left.
  4. The defenders work in tandem by having one player pressure the ball while the other player tries to steal the pass.
