Nutmeg shooting drill is a simple drill that helps players train their eyes to find the rim quickly and early by bouncing the ball between their legs before they take a shot. Many trainers and coaches use Nutmeg as a way to prepare and acclimate players for the inevitability of receiving a less than perfect pass and having to quickly adjust their eyes and footwork before taking a shot.
